Can Creditors Still Call and Send Collection Letters?
Yes they can, but upon being contacted by us most if not all
will choose to respect your wishes and limit communications
to our firm. Creditors seek open communication and resolution,
and are almost always found to be co-operative.
However, there is a difference between original creditors
and third parties such as collection agencies. Third-party debt
collectors are specifically limited to direct any and all communication
involving your accounts to us.
Good faith is an integral part of any negotiation. If either
the creditor or especially the third party ignores your request
to limit discussion to us, then the entire negotiation process
is in jeopardy. They understand this, and that is why they respect
it.
So you can expect not to receive any further collection calls
or letters once you’ve entered debt settlement negotiation.
Should you happen to receive any, though, we have a procedure
for you to follow. And we’ll be in immediate contact with
the offending party.
